Quality Control

Michaels Mobility do not supply any unofficial imports. All our products are brand new direct from the official UK distributors of leading manufacturers.
We supply only well tried and tested models.
Full assembly and inspection tests take place in our workshops prior to despatch ready to ride.
All power products have their own unique identification numbers registered by the UK distributor and ourselves to enable a specific unit to be tracked right through the process to the individual customer to ensure full warranty and spares provision.

Warranty/Guarantee/After Sales Service

All our products come with a full 12 month guarantee against faulty manufacture or materials backed by the manufacturers themselves. In addition we include free call out and labour by our service teams whilst under guarantee.
A direct line is provided for sales advice and servicing requirements. The number can be found on your delivery documentation. The line is manned during normal office hours from 9.30 - 4.30 Monday to Friday during which time there is usually a trained operator available to give you any advice you may require. In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your purchase that requires one of our service teams to visit you, they will always endeavour to effect adjustments or repairs on the initial call out but if this is not possible a loan scooter may be offered in certain circumstances, whilst your own vehicle is in our workshop.
Please note the warranty does not cover consumables such as tyres and bulbs or maintenance requirements caused by undue care or accidental damage such as flat batteries or punctures. A call out requested or diagnosed as a result of the above will attract a minimum call out fee of £50 and may be subject to additional parts and labour charges.

Delivery

Delivery within the UK is free. For delivery outside the UK please telephone one of our advisors on 0800 389 2267 for a quotation.
Delivery should be within our general quotation of 7-10 days from confirmed order. Any specific requests should be made at the time of ordering and we will always endeavour to comply if possible.
When your order is ready for despatch we will telephone you to discuss and confirm delivery details with you.
To keep prices competitive, we may despatch certain express delivery portable scooters or smaller items by courier or post.
All other power products will be delivered in our own vans by our own fully trained staff. Our staff will be pleased to give you a full demonstration on how to use and drive the product. In addition we will advise on storage and battery charging before handling over your new, ready to ride vehicle.
BEWARE, some firms simply dispatch large and heavy scooters with independent couriers. These require complicated assembly and a two man team just to uncrate them. There is no guarantee that they will work or are not damaged or even when they will get there!

VAT Exemption

We do not include VAT in our quoted prices because almost all of our customers qualify for exemption due to their needs. As a recognised supplier we are able to supply a simple form for qualification, no Doctors letters or other such documentation is necessary.

Cancellations & Returns Policy

Providing goods have not been despatched, we would normally refund a deposit in the case of a cancellation of a regular advertised item. Special orders of non-advertised items must be paid for in full and will not be subject to cancellation.

Ordering/Payment

You can ring one of our expert advisors on 0800 389 2267 and arrange to pay using your Visa/MasterCard or debit card or by cheque or cash, whichever suits you best.
Goods delivered by our staff only require a 25% deposit to guarantee the order and delivery and the balance can be paid by any of the approved methods on delivery.
Goods to be despatched by courier/post must be paid in full prior to despatch.
